BANTAM AA CHARGE INTO 2012  

 

The 2012 season started for the Rampage against DU Pioneers at Magness. The Jr.Pioneer Boast a Pee Wee State Championship and have multiple players on the Bantam roster from that team.  The Rampage Bantam AA team came out and sniped shift number 1 and never looked back. The Rampage AA Bantams would end the first period with 4 goals and DU held to 0.  The Pioneers would battle and score a few goals and bring the game to a 5-2 score. In the end the Rampage turn up the heat and fired in 4 more goals and took home the win 9-3.

 

The second game of 2012 was against Northern Colorado. Another fast start put the Rampage up 4-1. The Eagles of NoCo would battle and made the game a little close for a bit 6-4. The Rampage again would turn up the pressure and pour in 3 more goals and walk away with there 2nd win of 2012 by a score of 9-5.

 

Idaho Steelheads made the trip for 2 games against the Bantam AA Rampage. Game one was played on Friday night Jan. 15th  The Rampage started out strong but couldnt get one past the Steelheads goalie. The Steelheads tallied first with a wrist shot from the blueline. After that it was all Rampage and the boys started flying and finishing.  The Steelheads didnt quit and continued to battle the whole game. The Rampage scored 6 goals in the game and took home win number 3 by a score of 6-4. The Rampage out shot Idaho 42-18.

 

Sunday would be game two against the Idaho Steelheads and number four of 2012. The Rampage came out fast and strong playing a better game than game one. The team played physical and worked all zones. The Rampage took advantage of there chances and score 5 goals on a solid Steelheads goalie. The final score 5 Rampage and 1 Steelheads.

 

The Rampage Bantam AA  team is in first place in the CCYHL and will play this upcoming weekend against Rival Co Springs at World Arena , and another game against the Junior Pioneers of DU. Come check out the League leading Bantam AA Rampage this weekend.
